Chris Jefferson
Chris is the managing director and is committed to ensuring the reputation for quality workmanship and excellent service. Chris is a registered builder and has over 25 years experience in the trade. Chris demands high standards of integrity and commitment from all the team at Maintrade and is proud to introduce you to them.
Kay Robinson
Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, Kay knows great service and is ready to listen to your enquiries as our administration manager. She is a vital member of the Maintrade team and has the kind of sense of humour required to work with a predominantly male workforce.
Darren Thurecht
Darren is Maintrade's longest serving team member and started with the company as an apprentice in 1999. He is a long term resident of the Gold Coast and proud team member. in 2009 Darren moved in to a supervisor/estimator role, putting his skills to use on and off site. Darren completed Certificate IV in Building in 2011 and is able to apply his new found knowledge to all aspects of his current role.
Jesse Butt
Operations Manager Jesse began his carpentry career with Maintrade as an apprentice in 2001 and quickly demonstrated a commitment to customer service. With an eye for detail he provides accurate estimating and project management and listens to clients to ensure they get what they want. Jesse is responsible for our smooth workflow and great customer relations. Jesse has recently completed Cert IV in Building and Construction.
Chris Dobbin
Chris joined Maintrade from the wilds of the UK in 2007 and hasn't looked back since. As a key member of the team his experience has become an invaluable asset as has his sense of humour and commitment to the values of the company. You will find Chris supervising our high end office fitouts as well as keeping a hand in on some of our quality carpentry projects.
Luke O'Connor
Luke crossed the border in 2008 and has found a place neatly carved out for him in the Maintrade team. A professional through and through, Luke knows his trade and can be relied on to deliver outstanding service on every job. Luke completed Cert IV in Building in 2011, and is able to pass his wealth of knowledge on to our many apprentices.
Mark Shepherd
Mark began a school-based apprenticeship in 2007 and showed maturity beyond his years. Motivated and very hard working, Mark graduated from year 12 in 2008 and is moving swiftly through his apprenticeship. He is a valued contributor to the Maintrade team and a reliable young tradesman.
Fiona Gabriel
Fiona began with us in 2009 as administrative assistant. She keeps the office running smoothly and helps to create the systems and procedures that give Maintrade it's professional edge. Fiona always brings a bit of fun and a big smile to the office... as you can see ->
Logan Burgess
Logan joined our team in 2009 as a school based apprentice through the Australian Industry Trade College - Gold Coast. Logan has recently completed his year 12 studies and is now a full time carpenters apprentice. Logan is a very keen learner and enjoys the variety of work he is given.
Josh Hanlon
Josh recommenced his carpentry apprenticeship as a mature age apprentice, joining the team late in 2009. Josh is a committed team member and is learning his trade at a great pace. Josh enjoys living on the Gold Coast and can often be found carving the waves of local beaches in his spare time.
Mitch Dobell
Mitch joined the team in December 2010 to learn his trade as a carpenter. Mitch was a stand out in the recruitment process, showing great initiative on site and all the qualities of a diligent tradesperson. We look forward to seeing Mitch progress through the ranks as have so many of our past apprentices.
Adam Van Leeuwen
Adam began with us in February 2011 as a carpenter/supervisor on the Brisbane flood repair jobs. Adam has fantastic communication skills, which is a prerequisite when working with so many clients and contractors. Adam has successfully completed over 20 full house rebuilds in a 6 month period.
Dave Jefferson
Dave joined the team in March 2011, after a difficult decision to move his family away from his home town (and the Earthquakes) of Christchurch NZ. Dave handles all our contract administration and can also be found on-site when an extra hand is needed. Dave works closely with the team to make sure everything is running smoothly from the office to the work-site.
Ben Sampson
Ben began his Maintrade career in April 2011, having spent a lot of time in the USA, NZ and Australia completing numerous large projects from shopfitting to boat building. Ben has a very easy going personality, great communication skills and is a top tradesman which is a perfect fit for his position at Maintrade Building Services.
Mitchell Hamilton
Mitchell started his school based apprenticeship with us in June 2011, he was selected from several work experience students from the Australian Industry Trade College. Mitch will study year 11 and 12 at the college, alternating between school and his Maintrade carpentry apprenticeship 1 month on 1 month off. We look forward to Mitchell coming on board full time with us at the end of 2012.
Kevin Roberts
Kevin started with Maintrade in August 2011 to fill the role of multi-skilled tradesman. Kevin can turn his hand to almost any renovation or repair task and provides a quality job every time. With a carpentry trade and years of experience behind him, Kevin is also able to provide our clients with fast, accurate quotations.
